High Flyin’ Filly and Onederfulbeach repeat in Buckeye Stallion Series

Grove City, OH — Out of five divisions, two of the previous leg winners repeated in the Buckeye Stallion Series for 3-year-old filly pacers at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Thursday night (June 22).

Although no winners from leg two were in the first division, it was the fastest division as Sectionlineseaside paced to the wire in 1:51.1. Brett Miller had the controls for trainer Steve Carter. The Downbytheseaside filly made it a new lifetime mark and her second win of the year, earning $27,652 this season for owner Eric Good.

Onederfulbeach captured the second division in 1:51.2. Aaron Merriman and Chris Beaver teamed up to get the win. Onederfulbeach launched from post two and never looked back. The daughter of Beachtrea has won two out of the three Buckeye Stallion Series legs and made it her third win of the season.

High Flyin’ Filly and Racing For Three battled in the fourth division. Racing For Three started to put pressure on the leader Tre Rock (Brett Miller) as they hit the three-quarters in 1:24, but High Flyin’ Filly (Page) followed the live cover behind Racing For Three in the final turn. As she went three wide there was no stopping High Flyin’ Filly as she drew away from the field in 1:52.4. Page had the lines for trainer Ron Burke as she got her eighth win of the season and has netted $79,379 in 2023. The daughter of Domethatagain has gone three for three in the Buckeye Stallion Series.

The fourth leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series for 3-year-old filly pacers is Monday (July 17) at MGM Northfield Park.
