Columbus, OH — Nominations are due Thursday (June 15) for the Charlie Hill Memorial Trot and the Jim Ewart Memorial Pace to be held at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Super Night (Saturday, Sept. 9).

Each event will go for $250,000 (est.) and are top money events for 4-year-olds and up. The Charlie Hill Trot is an open event while the Jim Ewart Pace is for horses and geldings.

The $500 nomination for either event must be postmarked by Thursday. Supplemental payments of $10,000 will be accepted on draw day (Sept. 5). The entry fee is $2,000. Conditions can be viewed on the USTA website.

The 90-day Scioto Downs live racing season goes through Saturday (Sept. 16). Racing is held each Tuesday and Wednesday with a 3:15 p.m. first post and Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays with a 5:50 p.m. first post.
