Hillexotic brings $239,000 at onGait.com

Boca Raton, FL — World champion and millionaire Hillexotic 1:50.2f sold Saturday afternoon at onGait.com for $239,000.

The 7-year-old son of Muscle Hill has been facing the best older trotters in North America and is the defending Dayton Trotting Derby champion. Greg Luther of Ohio was the winning bidder. The sellers were Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi and Phil Collura.

Also last weekend, Seaside Sailing p,3,1:53.4f, a 3-year-old son of Downbytheseaside, was sold by Hutchison Harness of Ohio to John Swider of Georgia for $28,000; Hobbs 3,1:53.3s, a veteran son of Credit Winner, went to Cory Stratton for $25,100; and Jamie Copley and partners of Ontario sold the Archangel 5-year-old Ima Standup Guy 5,1:55.1f to Joe Faraldo for $24,600.

Currently in the onGait auction ring are Espresso 2,1:53.3, a Kentucky stakes eligible son of Chapter Seven from the Julie Miller barn; Casanova Hall 2,1:57.2f, a Greenshoe 3-year-old from the Nifty Norman stable; the American Ideal 3-year-old Levi Sonic p,2,1:55.2h and Lollapalooza K 2,Q2:00.3f, a Walner 3-year-old filly from the Ake Svanstedt outfit.
