Hohneck is the best in Europe

The 6-year-old French trotter, Hohneck, trained and owned by Philippe Allaire won the inaugural final in the UET Elite Circuit at Solvalla with Gabriele Gelormini in the bike.

Hohneck won the 1 5-16-mile event by open lengths in 1.52.4 (mile rate) followed by another French trotter, Go On Boy with trainer/driver Romain Derieux in the bike.

Race favorite, Vivid Wise As with Matthieu Abrivard finished third.

Hohneck was in command the whole trip and won the second time in 2023 at Solvalla. Back in May Hohneck won the Elitlopp.
Today’s purse for the winner was 255.000 dollars.

The European trotting Derby for 4- year-olds, the Grand Prix de l’UET was by the brave Swedish Trotter, Barack Face with trainer/driver Adrian Kolgjini in the bike.

Barack Face was parked outside the leader most of the trip, but still managed to show off a late burst from the French trotter, Just a Gigolo with Franck Nivard to win by a head.

Barack Face is sired by Ready Cash and out of Lisa America, who was a Group 1- winner in Europe.

The win time was 1.55 (mile rate) and the purse for the winner 220.000 dollars.

The two classic races for Swedish 3-year-old trotters, the Kriterium and the Oaks was both won by horses trained by Timo Nurmos!

The Kriterium, raced over 1 5-8 mile was by open lengths by Fame and Glory – sired by Tactical Landing – with Björn Goop in the bike.
Fame and Glory is a half-brother to the top trotter Calgary Games, who now is at stud and has covered many mares in the United States this year.

The filly division, the Oaks saw Adriatica with Magnus A. Djuse in the bike. She is sired by Bold Eagle.
