Columbus, OH — Starting with the August 2024 issue of Hoof Beats magazine, content that was formerly posted on the HarnessRacingFanZone.com website will be moving to www.ustrotting.com.
With the transition, the free stories posted each month will be formatted as pdfs, which display the stories as they appear in Hoof Beats including all of the photos from those stories. In the past, on HarnessRacingFanZone.com the stories were plain text.
Each month, the table of contents as well as a feature story and column from a USTA executive, discussing important issues in harness racing, will be available for free.
The August 2024 edition of Hoof Beats covers a lot of territory, from Hambletonian lore to Tioga trainers recovering from a devastating fire to last month’s Hall of Fame inductions. This month’s feature story takes a look at Hall of Fame recent inductee Tall Dark Stranger, while the executive column by USTA COO TC Lane describes his recent night at the races with family, friends and 2-year-old trotting filly Strawberry Hill, which reminded him of “why we do” what we do for USTA.
