Izoard Vedaquais was the race favorite and was in command most of the trip in a blistering pace as he cut fractions of :26.3 during the race and gave up totally going around the last bend.

The winner, who is trained by Benoit Robin, took his second win in a Group 1 race, as he formerly won the Criterium de 5 Ans. The purse for the winner was 180,000 Euro.

Hussard du Landret is sired by Bird Parker, who won the race back in 2018.
