Idao de Tillard heading towards Prix d’Amerique

The 5-year-old French trotter Idao de Tillard with Clement Duvaldestin in the bike won his fifth victory in a row Saturday afternoon (Dec. 2) at Vincennes and is at present favored to win the Prix d’Amerique 2024.

Idao de Tillard easily won the Group 2-race, Prix Doynel de Saint-Quintin over 1-3/4 miles at Vincennes timed in 1.58.1 (mile rate).

Idao de Tillard raced in this year’s Prix d’Amerique and was second favorite but went off stride and was disqualified.

At Solvalla, the Gold division was won by Milliondollarrhyme with trainer/driver Fredrik B. Larsson in the bike followed one length behind by Norwegian trotter.Moni Viking with Björn Goop, who returned to action after a six-month layoff.

While Milliondollarrhyme is gelded and thus not qualified to race in the Prix d’Amerique. Moni Viking will take his chance again – he finished unplaced this year.

Perhaps we will see Italian top trotter Alrajah One, who has left Ake Svanstedt and is now in his home country.
