Hinsdale, IL — The unpredictable weather again played havoc with the Illinois State Fair meeting and its ISFCS championships, forcing a cancelation of Thursday’s (Aug. 17) program.

The Illinois State Fair Colt Stake finals will be moved to the opening week of the Hawthorne meeting, Sept. 9-10.

Track conditions and time restrictions were the reasons for the scheduled 18-race program postponement on the final day of the Springfield meeting.

The popular Tim McGraw and Landon Parker concert will take place at the Springfield Fairgrounds later in the day.
