Incaseyoudidntknow takes Dover Mares Open Pace

Dover, DE – Incaseyoudidntknow wired the field and won the Mares Open Handicap Pace at Bally’s Dover on Wednesday (Feb.22) night.

Driver Jim Morand sent Incaseyoudidntknow to the top and did not look back. Incaseyoudidntknow sailed through race fractions of :26.3 to the quarter. The half was reached in :55.2 (:28.4).  Dewit For Josie moved first-over from fourth before the half. The 4/5 betting favorite Majorca N shadowed second-over on the rim down the backstretch.

Incaseyoudidntknow was in cruise control reaching the three quarters in 1:23.2 and pacing the quarter in :28 seconds flat.
Majorca N, flattened out nearing the three-quarter pole. Jody became leg weary in the pocket. Feeling Sweet closed well from a third-over race position. Incaseyoudidntknow drew off in the stretch and won in 1:51.4 by three-quarters of a length. She paid $18.20 for the win.

Incaseyoudidntknow (Always B Miki) is owned by James Magno, Joseph Fonte both from Maryland. Les Givens trains.

Dewitt For Josie finished second for trainer Mike Hall, Jason Thompson drove. Feeling Sweet finished third for trainer Joe Columbo, Pat Berry drove.

Crissy Crissman-Bier trained and owned three winners on the card.

There are three exotic carryover pools to Thursday’s (Feb.23) racing program. The Pick-3 carry over is $1,553. That wager starts on the fourth race. The Pick-5 carryover is worth $767.00 and begins on the sixth race. The Pentafecta carry over of $1,553 is available on the 13th and final race on the betting card.
