Lexington, KY — The Kentucky Harness Horsemen’s Association has elected Chuck Grubbs as its new president.
Grubbs, a third generation horseman, was born and raised in Ohio, with every member of his immediate family being in the Standardbred business. He owned his first racehorse at the age of 13.
He moved to Kentucky in 2009 with his Kentucky bred pacing colts and never left. Grubbs now lives on a beautiful farm in Georgetown, Ky. Shortly after moving to Kentucky, he joined the KHHA and soon after was elected to its board of directors.
“I was encouraged by a few KHHA board members to run for president when there became a vacancy. I look forward to leading the horsemen into the future.”
