MADC races featured on Saturday Meadowlands card

East Rutherford, NJ — The MADC had seven races on the Saturday night (June 17) Big M card. All of the races had lots of action and exciting finishes. There was also several different drivers who won these events.

In the first race, it was a romp for Make It Big (Jim King Solomon) who reigned victorious in 1:56. Sweet Moves (John Calabrese) was second while Master Conrad (Bruno Chiodo) got up for third.

The second race found the horses that got away on top finish exactly that way and made for a favorite double. Jive Ninety Five (Newton “Yogi” Sheridan) was able to win by just over a length in the one trotting event for the MADC. The mile was timed in 1:56.1. Longshot Brownie (Mike Polansky) ended up second and Blogmaster (Anthony Verruso) rounded out the trifecta.

In the fourth race, it was a big mid-race move by Yer So Bad (Verruso), who went on to win by 5-3/4 lengths over the favorite, Ferdinand A (James Slendorn). Always B Billy (Calabrese) rounded out the trifecta. This mile was timed in a sizzling 1:51.3.

The eighth race on the card featured the MADC 2 pacers and three longshots rounded out the top three. It was Party Boy (Michael Kimelman) who got his nose up in time over Firstup (Verruso) while another length back was Claytons Bettor N (Slendorn). This mile went in 1:52.

In the 11th race, it was Bloodhound (Mark Silva) who overcame an objection and some tight quarters to win by 2-1/4 lengths over The Downtown Bus (Verruso) while Twin B Raptor (Sheridan) finished third. This mile went in 1:54.

In the 12th race on the card, it was the post time favorite Jackamino (Tony Beltrami) who skimmed the pylons to win by 2-1/2 lengths over longshot Gotta Minute N (William Clark Jr.). Century Fury (Slendorn) rounded out the trifecta. This mile was timed in 1:54.

In the 13th race and final MADC race on the night, it was the outer flow that ended up finishing first and second with Mask On Mask Off (Joe Lee) who held off a late charge by Johnny Q (Matt Zuccarello) to win the finale. Howtotrainurdragon (Sheridan) rounded out the trifecta. This mile went in 1:53.4.

The MADC will be back next week on Friday with the first post scheduled for 6:20 p.m.
