Columbus, OH — Melissa Lynn McKee, 31, died unexpectedly at home on Feb. 4, 2023.

She was a cherished daughter, sister, sister-in-law, girlfriend, friend, and animal Mom.

She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2013. After suffering a stroke, she went on to pursue a career as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), graduating from The School of Cardiovascular Tech at Morristown Medical Center in March 2018.

Born in Southfield, Mich., on March 28, 1991, the McKee family moved to New Jersey in 1999.

She leaves behind her mother, Christine; older sister, Meagan; twin sister, Lindsey, and her wife Gina DiBartolo; and boyfriend, Damian Gallagher. She is reunited with her beloved father, Samuel, who died in 2017.

Visitation will be held Thursday (Feb. 9) at the Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, N.J., from 3- 6 p.m. A service will be held immediately following from 6-6:30 p.m.

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life dinner at Brook Hollow Winery, 594 State Highway 94, Columbia, N.J., beginning at 7 p.m.
