Nichols, NY – Mirragon A (Tyler Miller) captured the $10,500 featured pace on Sunday (June 25) at Tioga Downs.

Machiatto A (Ridge Warren) went straight to the front and led to the quarter in :28.2. He went :28.1 in the second quarter and was first to the half in :56.3. Mirragon A ($3.80) made his move first-up heading for the final turn. Machiatto A was first to three-quarters in 1:23.2.

As they made the turn for home, it was all Miragon A as he blew right on by to win easily in a lifetime best of 1:51.2. Thisjetsabookin (McGwire Sowers) came up to get second. Machiatto A had to settle for third.

Miragon A is a 7-year-old gelding by Art Major. He is owned by Joel Warner, John Manning, and trainer Mike Deters. It was his first win this season. He now owns 18 career victories.

Tyler Miller had a driving hat trick. He got his other wins with Tiger Baron and Crown Hanover.
