Muscle Dynasty wins at Bally’s Dover

Dover, DE — Muscle Dynasty brushed down the backstretch and won confidently in the $25,000 Open Handicap Trot at Bally’s Dover on Tuesday night (Dec. 5).

Oh Boy settled in the three-path at the start of the race before Victor Kirby brushed him to the top to post fractions of :27.4 and :57.4. Muscle Dynasty, whom Corey Callahan settled in fourth early, moved off the pylons in front of the stands to advance first-up, with Embrace The Grind and Black Hope following cover.

Muscle Dynasty brushed past pacesetter Oh Boy up the backside, reaching three-quarters in 1:25.1 before holding off the late-charging That Ole Bar Stool by a length to win in 1:54. Fifty Ways finished third.

Muscle Dynasty, a 5-year-old Muscle Hill gelding, is owned by Frank Chick and trained by Walter Callahan. He paid $8.00 to win as the 3-1 co-favorite.

Incaseyoudidntknow seeks her fifth consecutive win in the $25,000 Fillies and Mares Open Pace on Wednesday night (Dec. 6), which has also attracted Tony Alagna trainee Boudoir Hanover. First post is 4:30 p.m.
