East Rutherford, NJ — Starting this Friday (May 10) and Saturday (May 11), Meadowlands Racetrack will conduct back paddock interviews with drivers and trainers as their top trotters and pacers make their return to the racetrack.

The main objective is to talk with horsemen that have horses coming off the bench in the night’s multi-leg wagers.

With the early Pick-5 getting underway in race one, paddock interviews will take place throughout the pregame show which kicks off at 5:47 p.m. There will also be interviews leading up to the late Pick-5 beginning in race eight and the $50,000 guaranteed Pick-4 sequences that begin in races six and 10.

“This is something a customer sent in to us, so we are going to give it a shot. We are looking to get as much information to our customers as possible,” said track Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Jason Settlemoir.
