Ron Burke-trained horses won eight of the 13 qualifiers for 2-year-olds on Wednesday (June 17) at Gaitway Farm, which hosted its second of three weekly sessions for freshman pacers and trotters.

In response to the devastating barn fire that occurred on Tuesday morning (June 15), Saratoga Casino Hotel announced Thursday (June 17) a coordinated response that includes a $100,000 donation, upcoming fundraising efforts, and a memorial service to honor the horses lost in the tragedy.
Trainer Hunter Oakes came out firing during the Wednesday morning (June 17) (into early afternoon) qualifying session at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania, sending out five winners, including two who now have two victories.
