Grove City, OH – For the second time in less than a week, Dan Noble recorded two wins in Buckeye Stallion Series action. Last Sunday (Aug. 13) Noble recorded two wins at MGM Northfield Park. Thursday night at Eldorado Scioto Downs, Noble won two of the five $20,000 races for 2-year-old colt trotters.

Noble got his first win in the third division for freshman colt trotters. Noble raced Tom Swifty to the lead off the gate and never looked back, winning by a length and a quarter in 2:00.1. Trained by Christi Noble, Tom Swifty has hit the board in five of six starts, winning three. Owned by Sandra Burnett, the Long Tom colt has earned $27,987 this year.

Long Ridge was second with Sir Maverick third.

Noble’s second win came in the next division as he went wire-to-wire again to win by a length with No Nap Nash in a new lifetime mark of 1:58.2. Trained by Miles Wollam and owned by Bob Troyer, Martin Wollam, and Norman Rae Racing, the son of Creatine has won two of four starts. No Nap Nash raised his earnings to $27,400.

Sweeney finished second with Mr. WWC third.

In the first division, Irresistible Son with Anthony MacDonald took the lead to the first quarter.  Lucky Tom took the lead at the half but Irresistible Son regained the lead past the half and pulled away to win easily by 5-3/4 lengths in a new lifetime mark of 1:58.3. It was the second win in five starts for the Triumphant Caviar colt. Trained by Jason McGinnis and owned by Thestable Irresistibleson and Hutchison Harness, Irresistible Son has earned $31,720 this year.

The second division for 2-year-old colt trotters went to Bob Da Bomber and Tyler Smith. Bob Da Bomber grabbed the lead going to the half and fought off a challenge from Be Not Beastly around the final turn. The two battled down the stretch with the Long Tom gelding hanging on to win by a quarter of a length. Tye Loy trains and co-owns Bob Da Bomber with David Wills, Richard Coad, and Douglas Gregory. Bob Da Bomber has won four of six starts this year and has earned $40,040.

Dew Me A Solid finished third.

The final division of the night went to Supreme Samson. Supreme Samson and Emmanuel Miller who were sixth through the first three quarters. Around the final turn, Miller took the son of Nothing But Class four-wide, catching the leader Captain Vandy at the top of the stretch. Prince Charmer joined the fight to the line with Supreme Samson getting up to win by a length and a quarter in a new lifetime mark of 2:00.3. It was the third win of the year for the Herman Hagerman trainee. Owned by Hagerman Racing, Daniel Schrock, and Vernon Miller, Supreme Samson has earned $18,143 this year.

Prince Charmer was second with Captain Vandy third.

Buckeye Stallion Series action resumes with the fifth leg beginning at the Delaware County Fair on Sunday, Aug. 17.
