Harrington, DE — Northern Express ($5.00, Russell Foster) was a 1:55.2 winner in the $20,000 Open Trot Wednesday (June 7) at Harrington Raceway.

Despite starting from post position eight, the 7-year-old Muscle Massive gelding made the lead near the opening quarter mile and never relented, posting a narrow win over Manatlas and Swan Flyer for owner-trainer Arty Foster Jr. It was his fourth win of the year, and it sealed his second straight season with earnings in excess of $100,000.

The win was one of two on the card for driver Foster, who is just one victory shy of 2,000 lifetime.
