Boca Raton, FL — Northern Storm p,3,1:49.4, led the Day 1 Greg Luther Racing consignment at onGait.com when she sold on Friday for $53,500 to Jason Brewer of Ohio.

The McArdle 5-year-old mare was a recent winner at Miami Valley and just competed in the Filly and Mare Open there on Thursday.

Six racehorses from the Luther outfit changed hands on Friday with another 11 being offered over the weekend.

Captain Keen p,5,1:51.1f sold for $23,200 to Ohio native Brian Tatham. The Always A Virgin 6-year-old was coming off a fast closing second on Wednesday at Miami Valley. Also selling Friday were Sectionlineronnie p,5,1:50.4f for $22,000, Nob Hill Flash p,5,1:52.3f and Diggin Hot Blondes 2,Q2:02.1f for $12,600.

Among those still available are Foxhunt p,3,1:52.4f, in to go Sunday at Northfield; Dempsey Hanover p,2,1:54f, a Stay Hungry first-cropper racing Sunday at Miami Valley; and Seaside Show, a 3-year-old Downbytheseaside filly also racing Sunday at Miami Valley.
