Oak Grove, KY – Just a reminder entries for the eliminations for both the Oak Grove Trotting Derby and Oak Grove Trotting Oaks close on Wednesday (April 29) at 9 a.m. CENTRAL time. Entries can be made online or by calling the race office at 270-984-4330.
As with all Stakes raced in Kentucky there will be no Lasix allowed. There is also a 45-day rule in effect, where horses must show a good charted line within 45 days of entry.
There will be a detention barn for both the eliminations and the finals of the Derby and the Oaks. All horses must be in their detention stall by 1 p.m. Central time the day prior to the race; Sunday, May 3, for the eliminations on Monday, May 4, and Friday, May 15, for the finals on May 16.
