Grove City, OH – Obsessed With Me and Easter Bb secured their third Buckeye Stallion Series wins of the season on Wednesday (Aug. 19) as Northfield Park Racino hosted five $20,000 divisions of the fourth leg of the BSS for freshman colt trotters.

Also a winner in the second and third legs, Obsessed With Me (Chris Page) took the first division in 1:58.2, which was the fastest mile of Wednesday’s five BSS races. The Ready For Moni gelding led gate to wire, recording fractions of :29.2, 1:00, and 1:29.2 en route to winning by two lengths over Senor Julio (Tyler Smith). Rizz N Moni (Dan Noble) was third. Obsessed With Me is trained by Matthew Burkholder for owner Dark Horse Farm. He has earned $32,500 in five starts.
After scoring wins in the first and third legs of the BSS, Easter Bb (Page) took Wednesday’s fifth division in 1:59.1. The Creatine gelding led gate to wire with fractions of :29.4, 1:01, and 1:31 and won by 5-1/4 lengths. Vacation Hill (Noble) was second followed by Great Start (Luke Hanners) in third. Easter Bb has hit the board in all eight seasonal starts with seven wins and one third while banking $70,330. He is trained by Phillip Knox for owner Brant Brower.
Hanners joined Page in winning a pair of BSS races on Wednesday, taking the second and third divisions in the sulky with East King Street and Jet Range, respectively.
East King Street rallied from sixth place and five lengths back of the leader at the three-quarter pole to win by a length in 1:58.4 for his first career victory in five starts, increasing his earnings to $17,500. Way Too Easy (Chris Lems) led at each of the first three calls in :28, :58, and 1:28 before fading to finish fourth. Krazy Caviar (Sam Widger) was second followed by Bald Bob (Braiden Rhoades) in third. East King Street is an In Range gelding trained by Virgil Morgan Jr. for owner Joyce A McClelland Stable.
Jet Range was a gate-to-wire winner by one and a half lengths in 1:58.3, scoring his first career victory after recording fractions of :29, :59.3, and 1:29.4. Little Dirt Cowboy (Lems) and Glowing Acceptance (Noble) rounded out the top three. Jet Range is an In Range gelding trained by Morgan Jr. for owners Joyce A McClelland Stable and Larry Wills. He has a 1-1-1 record in five starts with earnings of $32,940.
Sergeant Chino (Justin Irvine) also recorded his first career win, taking the fourth division by a length in 1:59.2 to improve his record to 1-0-3 and increase his earnings to $15,880 in eight starts. He is trained by Tim Twaddle for owner Hold The Line Stable. Dynamic Count (Widger), who led at the first three calls in :28.1, :59.2, and 1:29.1, finished second with Serg Garcia (Lems) in third.
The Buckeye Stallion Series continues Thursday (Aug. 20) with the fourth leg for freshman filly trotters at Eldorado Scioto Downs.
