Ft. Washington, MD — Ocean Downs is announcing the addition of two late closers for $10,000 and $12,500 claimers.

The Diane (Mum) Stevenson Memorial Claiming Pace is set to begin on Wednesday (July 26). Nomination form and a nomination fee of $350 is due by July 21.

1st Leg – Wednesday (July 26) – Claiming $10,000 – Purse $10,000
2nd Leg – Thursday (Aug. 3) – Claiming $12,500 – Purse $11,000
FINAL – Thursday (Aug. 10) – Non-Claiming – Purse $12,500 added

The David Hill III Memorial Claiming Pace will begin on Wednesday (Aug. 16). Nomination form and a nomination fee of $500 is due by Aug. 11.

1st Leg – Wednesday (Aug. 16) – Claiming $12,500 – Purse $11,000
2nd Leg – Wednesday (Aug. 23) – Claiming $15,000 – Purse $12,500
FINAL – Monday (Sept. 4) – Non-Claiming – Purse $12,500 added

Conditions for both late closers are as follows:

All horses will be paid in all legs and final.
Horses must start in first leg to be eligible to the final.
Top eight money earners will race in the final.

No more than two horses from any stable or common ownership permitted in final.
