Berlin, MD — Preparations are underway at Ocean Downs for the annual Spring-Summer meet as the track opens for training on Wednesday (April 24).

Horsemen are asked to call Director of Racing Peter Szymanski at 410.641.0600, ext. 3377, to enter the day prior.

The training sessions will continue every Wednesday through and including Aug. 28. Training hours on the Eastern Shore’s premier half-mile oval are from 7 a.m. until noon.

Starting May 15, horsemen are asked to call the Ocean Downs race office, at 410.641.0600, ext. 3211 or 3212.

All horses appearing to train need to have their health papers in order, including a recent Coggins test.
