Ohio Sires Stakes highlight Memorial Day card at Eldorado Scioto Downs

Grove City, OH — Ohio Sires Stakes second leg action for sophomore filly pacers and trotters will highlight Memorial Day racing at Eldorado Scioto Downs. Two $55,000 divisions for filly pacers and one division of filly trotters going for $100,000 will be contested.

In the first division for filly pacers, Hey Hey Mama will look to remain undefeated. The Downbytheseaside filly did not race as a 2-year-old but is a perfect five-for-five this year. Ronnie Wrenn Jr. will drive for trainer Brian Brown.

First leg winner Dragon By The Sea will look for her third win in as many starts this year in the second division. The daughter of Downbytheseaside is trained by Jeff Smith. Smith’s son Tyler will drive.

In the lone division for 3-year-old trotting fillies, the two first leg winners will square off in the 11-horse field. Rose Run Yanae and Rose Run Yolanda were winners at Miami Valley on May 6. Chris Page will drive Rose Run Yanae for trainer Ron Burke. The Triumphant Caviar filly is looking for her third win of the year. Rose Run Yolanda will have Brett Miller driving for trainer Todd Luther. The daughter of Triumphant Caviar will also be looking for her third win of the year.

First race post time at Eldorado Scioto Downs is 5:50 p.m.
