Ontario Sire Stake yearling nomination deadline is May 15
April 24, 2023,Toronto, ON — The yearling nomination deadline for the Ontario Sires Stakes program is May 15.
Please submit your nomination payment through the OSS online payment form by midnight on May 15, or by mail postdated no later than May 15.
The fee is C$100 (US$80) and nominates foals of 2022 to race in 2024 and 2025.
All yearlings must be registered at time of nomination and Standardbred Canada requires that the DNA and microchipping be completed before the foal is registered. To register your foal online with Standardbred Canada click here.
Nominations made after May 15 are subject to a late fee. Prior to Aug. 15, the late yearling nomination fee is C$500 (USD TBD). Between Aug. 15, 2023, and March 15, 2024, foals of 2022 will be subject to a 2-year-old late nomination fee of C$1,500.
