This event brings together horse owners, enthusiasts, and industry professionals for an evening of learning, connection, and hands-on education. Session topics (so far) include:
- Equine body composition
- Emergency preparedness for horse owners
- Composting practices for equine operations
- NSC levels in pastures & forages
- Equine behavior & good citizenship
- Thermal imaging & fire-risk awareness
- Fundamentals of equine nutrition

The Ohio State ATI Equine Center is part of The Ohio State University’s Agricultural Technical Institute’s 1,725 acre working farm located in Apple Creek, Ohio. The Center supports coursework and learning opportunities for Ohio State ATI students on the Wooster, OH campus pursuing degrees in equine, animal science, and related fields.
