Jacob Stillwell put a demolition job on his peers in the $9,000 American Harness Drivers Club (AHDC) Pace on Friday afternoon (April 7) at Freehold Raceway to win by a wide margin.

After two straight second place finishes in the Open Trot at Buffalo Raceway, Castyourcrown ($8.70) finally got the job done on Friday afternoon (April 7) to earn the lion’s share of the $15,000 purse with a 1-1/4 length decision over Good Boy in a seasonal best 1:58.4 over the fast track.

Corey Callahan led all drivers on Friday (April 7) at Harrah’s Philadelphia with four victories, including putting a new mark of 1:51 on Captain Crusader A in the $20,000 Open handicap pace for males.

With the first draw complete for the Northfield/Pompano Driver’s Challenge in the books, Team Northfield, comprised of Ronnie Wrenn Jr., Billy Davis Jr., Aaron Merriman, and Chris Lems, is set to do battle with the drivers from Pompano Park beginning Tuesday (April 11) at MGM Northfield Park in partnership with the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association.

Harrington Raceway’s 77th season of live harness racing will commence with a 14-race program on Monday (April 10) with post time at 4:30 p.m.
