MGM Grand Prix Pacing Series prelims completed
The third and final leg of the MGM Grand Prix Pacing Series was the feature on Monday night (Dec. 9) at MGM Yonkers Raceway. Three $50,000 divisions took place, with each of those events going 1-1/16 miles.
Going Platinum repeats in DSBF prelim
Breakaway Racing’s Going Platinum was again the star of the show on Monday (Dec. 9) at Bally’s Dover, proving the fastest of the three divisional winners in the second round of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders’ Fund (DSBF) series for 3-year-old trotting fillies with a 1:57.3 score in the second $20,000 division.

Batavia Downs posts marked handle increase in 2024
The 2024 racing season wrapped up at Batavia Downs last Saturday (Dec. 7) and that also closed the track’s books for the year. After all the paperwork was finalized, the bottom line showed that the business of harness racing at Batavia Downs is operating at a record pace.
