Captain Crusader A, a son of Captaintreacherous, parlayed a lively second-over trip into a narrow victory over pocketsitting Virgo in the $13,000 headlining fast-class pace Sunday afternoon at Harrah’s Philadelphia.

Whiskey Lou and driver Ridge Warren had an easy time of it in the $17,000 feature Open trot in 1:53.4 on a picture perfect Corn-Tastic Sunday afternoon at Tioga Downs.

On Tuesday (Sept. 2) The Red Mile will host the $80,000 fourth round leg of the Kentucky Championship Series for sophomore male pacers, which the industry often refers to as the “glamour division.”
