Chester, PA — The Pennsylvania Harness Horsemen’s Association has donated $7,500 to the Southern Tier Harness Horsemen’s Association to aid the victims of the devastating fire at Tioga Downs on Nov. 9.

The PHHA joins a number of associations, tracks, and fellow horsemen who have stepped up to give their help and show their support for the affected individuals.

“The unimaginable grief and pain that our fellow horsemen and women are going through can never be erased,” said PHHA Board President Sam Beegle. “Our hope is that through this act of kindness, in a small way, we can help them to get back on their feet and look to a brighter future.”

The harness racing community from coast to coast has come with donations for the benefit of the victims.
