Nichols, NY — PL Notsonice and Ridge Warren easily captured the $12,500 featured trot at Tioga Downs on Friday (Aug. 18).

Creekside Pete (Corey Braden) was first to the quarter in :28 before PL Notsonice brushed to the lead with a circuit to go. PL Notsonice led to the half in :56.2 and was well in control going down the backstretch before hitting three-quarters in 1:25.1. As they made the turn for home, PL Notsonice found another gear and cruised home to win in 1:53.4. Creekside Pete was second best; Knight Angel (Tyler Miller) finished third.

PL Notsonice, a 6-year-old mare by Kadabra owned by Elite Harness Racing LLC and trained by Steven Brabrook, paid $2.30 to win. It was her fifth win this season and 24th of her career.

Mike Merton drove three winners on the night; Ridge Warren and Tyler Miller both had driving doubles.
