Ft. Washington, MD — Betting Trae Porter on Thursday night (March 28) paid off handsomely for Rosecroft Raceway patrons.

The 22-year old Porter, who won five times on the Thursday card, produced an average win payout of $15.16 in his five wins, and that included wins with two betting favorites.

Porter won with Rocket Mac ($11.60), Coronaonthebeach ($25.00), Too Soon BG ($32.00), He’s Gonna Getya ($3.00) and Dancing On A Star ($4.20).

Jared Moyer had a driving double, winning with Ken Weckstein’s Rock Smart and then taking the $12,000 Open I with Maryland bred Fantastic Voyage. Moyer stopped the timer in 1:50.3.

Trainers John Wagner and Johnny Crites won three times each, and driver Jonathan Roberts won twice.
