Prix d’Amerique day recap

Paris, France — Some 34,067 fans witnessed the Prix d’Amerique at Vincennes Sunday afternoon (Jan. 29), where the chestnut trotter Hooker Berry with trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire was a very popular winner.

The handle on the Prix d’Amerique card with 11 races totaled just over 30 million Euros.

In the Quinte+ — where the bettors must find the first five horses in correct finish order — yesterday of course in the main event, The Prix d’Amerique, the handle alone was 8,371,802 Euro. Seventeen tickets had the correct finish order and were each paid 253,174 Euro.

There are four ways to win the Quinte+. The five first finishers in no order paid 1,020 Euro. The first four in correct order paid 53.20 Euro and the first three in correct order 11.00 Euro.
