Columbus, OH — Robert L. “Bob” Briley, 78, of Xenia, Ohio, died March 17, 2024.

A native of Belleville, Ill., Mr. Briley was associated with 19 Standardbreds as either an owner or breeder, most notably Dancin Yankee p,6,1:47.2f ($2,003,907), whom he partially owned from 2010 to 2014.

Mr. Briley is survived by his wife, Joy (née White); daughter, Kelly; and stepson, Stephen (Susan) Smalley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Louise; sister, Rita; and nephew, Sean Dehan.
