Anderson, IN – Kicking off the Indiana Sire Stakes season for 2-year-olds on Tuesday (July 7), Harrah’s Hoosier Park showcased a trio of divisions for the first leg for trotting fillies won by Queen Ada Jean, Dance Remix and Unburdened.

Queen Ada Jean driven by Kyle Wilfong for trainer Jay Hochstetler charged late to win the $46,000 first split on the evening as the 3-1 third choice in the wagering.
Leaving from the rail in the field of seven, Kyle Wilfong guided Queen Ada Jean into fourth allowing for challengers to pass by as the post-time favorite Janae (Jordan Ross) went off stride at the start.
Rebuffpinklady (Doug Rideout) was the quickest off the wings, leading to the first quarter in :29.1. Queen Ada Jean moved up to third as Gladden (Jay Cross) jumped it off from third, while Rebuffpinklady showed the way to the halfway pole in :59.4 with Judy’s Legacy (John De Long) sitting in second second.
At big odds (20-1), Rebuffpinklady hit the turn strong offering separation from Judy’s Legacy to the three-quarter pole in 1:29.4. Queen Ada Jean found her footing gliding past Judy’s Legacy before accelerating to the lead and cruising in 1:58.1 to win by 3-1/2 lengths. Savings Account (Marcus Miller) rallied for second from the backfield, while Rebuffpinklady fell to third.
The winning Dover Dan-Challax Hanover filly is owned by Jay Hochstetler, Finkelberg Racing LLC, South Of The Tracks Rac Inc. The 2-year-old filly was bred by John Bontrager Jr. Queen Ada Jean increased her lifetime earnings to $23,600 for her first career win in two tries. Queen Ada Jean paid $8.40 to win.

Making the track her dance floor, Dance Remix driven by Jordan Ross for trainer Henry Graber Jr came from behind to claim the $46,500 second division.
Away from post six, Dance Remix found a seat in midpack as Verity (Jared Finn) blitzed to the lead from the outside to command the first quarter turn in :27.4. Verity’s lead was short lived as M M’s Vision (John De Long) flew past the leader along the backstretch hitting the halfway mark in :59.
Dance Remix led the charge from fourth shuffling along the outside as M M’s Vision maintained her lead to the stretch in 1:28.3. Headed for home, Dance Remix turned on the jets, boosting past M M’s Vision with a :27.2 rally to cross the finish line in 1:56.3 two lengths clear. M M’s Vision held for second, while In the Buff (Kyle Wilfong) got up for third.
The 2-year-old is owned by S&R Racing Stables and Indiana Stables LLC, while being bred by Richard Fry. The Rebuff-Antsy Dancey filly made her first deposit into her lifetime earnings account of $23,250 winning the first start of her career. Dance Remix paid $7.60 to win.

Unburdened followed suit in the $46,000 third division, making her career debut a winning effort with Marcus Miller in the bike for Erv Miller.
Leaving from the rail, Unburdened was away third in line while Satin Serenade (John De Long) rocketed to the top from the far outside to cut the opening quarter in :28.3. The field raced single-file on the backstretch, with Satin Serenade laying down middle-half fractions of :59.3 and 1:29.2 before Miller right lined the 1-2 favorite. Once fed racetrack, Unburdened gobbled up ground, trotting home in :27.2 with a statuesque Miller in the bike to cruise to a two-length victory on the wire. Twister Sister (James Yoder) shook loose for second, with Intricate Dance (Doug Rideout) finishing third.
The winning daughter of Temporal Hanover-Muscle Baby Doll was bred by Black Creek Farm and Hickory Hollow Stables. Unburdened is owned by Ervin Miller Stable, Anthony Lombardi, and D&M Trading Ii LLCand is now one-for-one to begin her career.
The week of racing continues at Harrah’s Hoosier Park with a 14-race program on Wednesday (July 8) featuring two divisions of the first leg of Indiana Sire Stakes for 2-year-old pacing fillies. The card also includes $10,000 guarantees on the Late Pick-4 (races 11-14) and Late High 5 (race 14), offered in partnership with the USTA’s Strategic Wagering Program. First post on Wednesday is 5:30 p.m.
