Columbus, MN – The race office at Running Aces reminds owners and trainers that the nominations for the two early season series events are due next week.
Nominations (with the $125 fee) for the Banker Volo trotting series are due by Monday, May 11, and nominations and ($125) fees for the Burning Blaze series are due by Thursday, May 14.
Each series is for non-winners of 1 extended pari-mutuel race or $15,000 lifetime, with allowances for mares and for Minnesota-sired horses.
Nomination forms may be mailed in (if postmarked on or before the due date) or hand delivered to the race office at Running Aces. Nomination forms, including full rules and details, can be found on the track website under the “Horsemen Resources” tab.
The 2026 live racing season at Running Aces kicks off on Sunday, May 17. The Banker Volo series will get underway on Sunday, May 24, and The Burning Blaze series starts on Thursday, May 28.
