Columbus, OH — Salvatore Sparacino, 87, of Westbury, N.Y., died March 7, 2023.

Mr. Sparacino was a veteran of Roosevelt Raceway as a trainer and driver.

He was the loving husband of Vincenza; adored father of Catherine (Vincent) Russell and Carolyn (Michael) Taylor; devoted grandfather to Vanessa (Todd) Jackson, Joseph, Michael, Salvatore, and Christina; loving great-grandfather of Luca and Leo; and dear brother of Joanne Matera.

Family will receive friends at Donohue Cecere Funeral Home located at 290 Post Ave., Westbury N.Y. on Thursday (March 9) from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday (March 10) at 11 a.m. at St. Brigid’s Roman Catholic Church, Westbury, N.Y. Entombment to follow at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, N.Y.
