Manalapan, NJ — May 15 is the deadline for yearling payments to nominate foals of 2007 to Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New Jersey-sponsored stakes.
The stakes are the Anthony Abbatiello New Jersey Pacing Classic, Thomas D’Altrui Miss New Jersey Pace, Charles I. Smith Trot and the Harold R. Dancer Trot. The fees are $35 for the open events and $25 for the fillies. All foals must be nominated to the New Jersey Sire Stakes program.
Also due on May 15 are 2-year-old sustaining payments for the 2008 Harold Dancer Trot ($400) and New Jersey Futurity ($300).
Payment should be mailed to the SBOANJ, 64 Business Route 33, Manalapan, NJ 07726.
May 15 payments for the New Jersey Sire Stakes program — pari-mutuel or Green Acres — should be mailed to NJSS, P.O. Box 330, Trenton, NJ 08625. The fee is $50 if a copy of the yearling’s registration certificate accompanies the nomination. Without a copy of the certificate, the fee is $75.
The Lou Babic Pace nomination fee is an additional $25 for the open division and $15 for the filly division.
Registered mail is strongly suggested. No late payments are accepted.
