Grove City, OH — For the fourth time in six years, the defending freshman filly Pacer of the Year in Ohio has stepped up to repeat as a sophomore. The 2023 freshman champion Seaside Diva followed the path of McSeaside (2022-23), Sea Silk (2021-22), and Queen Of The Pride (2018-19) to be named the 2024 Ohio 3-year-old Pacing Filly of the Year.

Owned and bred by Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi, Knox Services, and Let It Ride Stables, Seaside Diva was undefeated in the Ohio Sires Stakes, taking all five legs and the $300,000 Scarlet Championship. In 2024, the daughter of Downbytheseaside bankrolled $572,790.
Seaside Diva claims a record of 17-5-3 in 31 career starts, banking $812,595 in lifetime earnings. She is trained by Ron Burke.
Seaside Diva will be honored at the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association annual awards banquet on Jan. 18 at the Marriott Columbus Airport in Columbus, Ohio. Seats are sold out.
The 2024 Ohio Horse of the Year will be announced at the awards banquet.
