Woodstock, VA – Racing applications for the 2026 fall meet at Shenandoah Downs, scheduled to run from Sept. 19-Nov. 1, are available online via the track’s website at shenandoahdowns.com under the “Horsemen” header.
The track will host its annual seven-week pari-mutuel meet with racing every Saturday and Sunday afternoon at 1:05 p.m. (EDT). Qualifiers will be held every Saturday at noon. The stable area will open to horsemen on Monday, Sept. 14. Entries will be taken every Wednesday for both weekend race days. A four-day non-wagering meet will precede the Shenandoah Downs season during the Shenandoah County Fair. Race days are Wednesday, Sept. 2, through Saturday, Sept. 5. Post time each day is noon. Entries will be taken Monday, Aug. 31, for the Wednesday and Thursday cards, and Tuesday, Sept. 1, for the Friday and Saturday cards.
