Celina, OH — Heavy rains and storms went thru the Van Wert County, Ohio Fair on Friday and cancelled harness racing, but Saturday was a good day for the Signature Series.
Threetimer won the Peony Pace second heat with a blazing 1:562 mile on the half-mile track and picked up 10 points in the Signature Series.
Points leader Tattler’s Jet came in third in the heat and solidified his lead in the Signature Series pace race with a commanding 20 point lead over Dragon’s Growl, who finished sixth in the first heat.
Gotapikapoketortwo competed in the Signature Series for the first time this year and took the win in the first heat in a time of 1:58.
On the trot side in the Harvest Trot, Tom Bruce picked up another win in 2:032 and moved into a solid fifth place in the trot standings.
The Signature Series now moves to Richwood on Monday night as the season winds down.
