In the $50,000 Kathleen Cain, Brenda Teague’s Tae ($3.00, Tony Morgan) prevailed in 1:52.2, equaling her lifetime mark at age 8 in her fifth win of the year. The I’m Gorgeous mare set all the fractions and maintained a comfortable lead at the wire over Southwind Mina and Shield Maiden.

The race is named in honor of Cain, who worked as a receptionist at Harrington for nearly 50 years. She was joined in the winner’s circle by family and friends for the blanket presentation.

Tyler and Brendan Davis’ Seamslilsassy ($7.80, Allan Davis) won the $20,000 DSBF filly consolation in 1:58.4.

Corey Callahan had three wins on the card to give him eight wins over the last two cards.

Live racing will continue Monday through Wednesday until Oct. 18.
