Yonkers, NY — Last night (April 11) was our first 20% Bonus Race card of the year. However, during race three there was an electrical issue with some of the Yonkers track lighting, which canceled the remainder of the card.

The Bonus Race card will now take place next Thursday (April 18). All horses must be entered today by 3 p.m.

We will pay out the first three races from last night and all those horses are eligible for the 20% Bonus next Thursday.

This is the third year in a row where the Standardbred Owners Association of New York will be conducting a 20% Bonus race card. Last year, we held four 20% Bonus race cards, paying out a little over $100,000 to our members.

The 2024 20% bonuses will be paid out to all horses wholly owned, trained and driven by SOA of NY members, who were signed up by Feb. 29, 2024.

The bonus money will be paid separately and solely to the owners (whoever is listed first in the program) and will come directly from the SOA of NY’s funds.
