Sophomore filly pacers gear up for Ohio Sires Stakes action

Grove City, OH – Hey Hey Mama and McSeaside will square off in the fourth leg of Ohio Sires Stakes action at MGM Northfield Park Saturday night (July 15). The two will meet in the second $55,000 division for 3-year-old filly pacers.

The daughters of Downbytheseaside have each won a pair of legs this year. McSeaside with Chris Page is the 6-5 favorite and has the second post position. Just to her outside is Hey Hey Mama and Ronnie Wrenn Jr. who is 3-1. Also in the field is Cruise Alert, a winner in the second leg. Brett Miller will drive Cruise Alert who is 5-1 on the early line.

In the first division, Dragon By The Sea, a winner in the first leg, is the 3-1 second choice behind Super Girl (9-5). Dan Noble will drive the Downbytheseaside filly.

Four divisions of 2-year-old colt pacers will take to the track in OSS action.

The final $40,000 division is loaded with four first-leg winners set to do battle. Fear The Image, Hundred Dollar Man, Outer Banks, and Racing Rebel were winners at Eldorado Scioto Downs on July 8.

Hundred Dollar Man with Montrell Teague is the 2-1 favorite, with Fear The Image and Brett Miller second choice at 5-2 and Outer Banks and Page third choice at 3-1.

Rose Run Zane, the other first-leg winner, highlights the third division. Austin Hanners will drive the 2-1 favorite.

First race post time at MGM Northfield Park is 6 p.m.
