SRF changes the date for annual golf tournament

from the Standardbred Retirement Foundation

Hamilton, NJ — The Standardbred Retirement Foundation has changed its annual charity golf tournament date to Tuesday, May 26. The tournament will still be held at the Knobb Hill Country Club in Manalapan, N.J.

All proceeds benefit the SRF, the oldest, most productive, award-winning program that finds homes for non-competitive Standardbreds and ensures their lifelong care. SRF also reaches out to children at risk through its after school, Youth in Focus Program, and teenagers within the N.J. Juvenile Justice System Program. Both groups work with the SRF horses to learn life and vocational skills.

The cost per player is $175 before May 21 and $225 per player thereafter. The price includes green fees, golf cart, lunch, cocktail hour, dinner, charity auction, and raffle.

A very popular event, the SRF golf outing is strongly supported by the racing industry. SRF is seeking various levels of sponsorship and gift items, such as tickets or box seats to sporting events, travel tickets or packages, valuable collectibles and novelty items for the charity to auction and raffle.

To sponsor, play or make a donation, please contact Dana Letual at (609) 324-1500 or e-mail events@srfmail.com to receive a brochure.
