Columbus, OH — Standardbreds are once again at Equine Affaire at the Eastern States Exposition in W. Springfield, Mass., Nov. 7-10.

A booth (#2104) and petting stall in the Breed Pavilion (Stroh Building) will allow people to get up close to Standardbreds and also provide giveaways and literature for attendees to pick up to learn about Standardbreds and harness racing.
Horses participating in the demonstrations and available in the petting stall throughout the weekend are:

The group of Standardbreds will be showcased during the following demonstration times:
Saturday at 10:45 a.m. in the Mallory South Arena
Sunday at 10:45 a.m. at the Equine Fundamentals Forum Mallary South Arena
Sunday at 2:45 p.m. in the US Equestrian Arena (Coliseum)
Chocolate Delight, Determine This, Good Bet and Xing the Delaware will also be participating in the Breed Bonanza in the Coliseum on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. This event is an under-saddle rail class that showcases all three gaits (or equivalent for gaited horses) in both directions, with the winner selected based on quality of gaits, horsemanship, and turnout. Standardbreds will also participate in various clinics on Saturday and Sunday.
Equine Affaire is open from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday. For more information about the event, visit the Equine Affaire website.
