Columbus, OH — Stanley W. Miller, 77, of Etna Green, Ind., died Feb. 1, 2024, at his residence.

He was born on July 15, 1946, in Bremen, Ind., to Willard N. and Anna (Chupp) Miller. Mr. Miller was a lifelong Nappanee area resident and on Sept. 16, 1970, he married Loretta Helmuth in Nappanee.

He was an accomplished Standardbred trainer.

Mr. Miller was a longtime faithful member of Fairview Mennonite Church.

He is survived by his wife of over 53 years, Loretta; children, Kenneth (Brenda), Yolonda (Robert) Helmuth, and Virgil (Diann); 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, W. Devon (Barbara), Kenneth (Barbara), John, Pauline (Keith) Borkholder, and Harlan (Ruth). He was preceded in death by his parents.
