Milton, ON – Stormont Shanlyboy and Windor delivered eye-catching performances to win Sunday night’s C$100,000 Harvest Series finals at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
Revamped and boosted for 2026, the Harvest Series events for Ontario-sired or bred 3-year-olds features two tiers. The top tier for colts and geldings concluded on Sunday evening with a pair of six-figure finals. Ontario-sired or bred sophomores that were non-winners of C$150,000 in 2026 as of Sept. 30 were eligible.

Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) Super Final runner-up Stormont Shanlyboy turned heads with a sizzling 1:51.2 victory in the Harvest Series 3-Year-Old Colt & Gelding Trot final.
Although the Harvest Series is not an OSS race, the clocking of 1:51.2 was notably a fifth faster than the all-time OSS record of 1:51.3.
Driven by Tyler Jones, Stormont Shanlyboy got away third and sat in that position until halfway around the far turn. Wolverine Legend sprinted to the lead and post sharp fractions of :26.3, :55 and 1:23.1.
Stormont Shanlyboy was at the leader’s wheel at the head of the lane and powered right by to score a commanding 6-3/4-lengths victory. Crunchintheodds rallied for second, while Stormont Fast Boy was third to give owner/breeder Stormont Meadows two of the top three finishers.
A son of Muscle Mass, Stormont Shanlyboy now has six wins and 13 top three finishes from 17 starts this season for trainer Kevin Benn. The Stormont Meadows homebred now has C$253,920 in career earnings.
Windor and driver Doug McNair pressed on early, got a two-hole ride behind the favourite and shot up the rail to win the Harvest Series 3-Year-Old Colt & Gelding Pace final in a career best 1:49.1.
A gelded son of Bulldog Hanover, Windor was one of several flashing early speed, ultimately sitting parked to the outside of early leader No Waitlist through a :26.1 opener. Windor would clear entering the backstretch as 3-5 favorite Odds On Bullfrog was roaring up behind, clearing to command just before a :54 half.
Odds On Bullfrog kept on rolling through the far turn, as No Waitlist was out to confront the leader at three-quarters in 1:21.4.
In the stretch, Odds On Bullfrog was able to put away No Waitlist, but couldn’t hold off Windor and McNair from squeezing up the inside to post to win by three-quarters of a length. Scorpion Seelster was third.
Trained by Michiel Vanderkemp, Windor collected his second win in 14 starts this season. The sophomore pacer competed regularly at the OSS Gold level throughout the season, finishing fifth in the Super Final.
The Harvest Series victory gives Windor C$120,317 in seasonal earnings and C$342,549 in career earnings for owner Dianna Secord.
Sunday’s card also saw multiple O’Brien Award winner Logan Park score his 10th win of the season in the C$44,000 Open Trot. The Kyle Fellows trained 8-year-old circled to the lead in the second quarter for driver McNair and eventually stormed home in :26.4 to win in 1:52.1. Hasty Bid was second, while Gaines Hanover was third.
A winner of over C$2.5 million, Logan Park improved to 10 for 16 this season with his 54th career victory.
Harvest Series action continues Monday evening with four finals, including a pair of C$100,000 events for 3-year-old fillies. A pair of C$60,000 for 2-year-old fillies will also be part of Monday’s 11-race card.
