Target is Prix D’Amerique 2025

Vincennes, FR — 5-year-old French trotter Jushua Tree, trained and driven by Jean Michel Bazire was qualified to race in the Prix d’Amerique 2024 to be raced at Vincennes on Sunday (January 28).

But Bazire has opted to wait until next year to race him in the Prix d’Amerique.

Therefore, Jushua Tree raced in the Prix Bold Eagle at Vincennes this afternoon – a race for 5-year-old trotters at the same distance as Prix d’Amerique – 2700 meter standing start – 1- 11/16 mile and with a total purse of 300,000 Euro.

As expected, it was a walk in the park for Jushua Tree who won easily timed in 1.56.2 (mile rate) followed by the Italian Derby winner, Dimitri Ferm with Matthieu Abrivard in the bike.

On the same card the Prix Ourasi for 4-year-old trotters was raced – also over 2700 meter standing start and with a total purse of 300,000 Euro.

The winner was Krack Time Atout, trained by Sebastian Guarato and with Paul-Phillippe Ploquin in the bike.

Krack Time Atout was placed last in the field going round the corner but finished strong to win by a length – timed in 1.56 (mile rate).

Krack Time Atout is sired by Face Time Bourbon.

The Prix de Luxembourg, who used to be the main event on Saturday’s (January 27) card, but now overshadowed by the races for 4- and 5-year-olds, was won by the outsider, Face Time (sired by Coktail Jet) with Gabriele Gelormini in the bike. Face Time was timed in 1.53.2 (mile rate).
