Harrington, DE — Clark Stables and Tina Clark’s That Ole Bar Stool ($3.00, Art Stafford Jr.) was a 1:55.2 winner in Wednesday’s (May 8) featured $22,500 Open Trot at Harrington Raceway.

The 5-year-old Bar Hopping gelding notched his second win of the year in wire-to-wire fashion over Northern Express and Speed Away. Trained by Bobby Clark, That Ole Bar Stool boosted his career earnings to nearly $300,000.

P T Stable’s Gotta Habit ($6.00, Russell Foster) scored his fourth win in his last five starts with a 1:56.4 score in a $14,500 conditioned trot. The 4-year-old Cantab Hall gelding already has six wins on the year for trainer Crissy Crissman-Bier.

TLB Racing’s Major Escape ($2.20, Pat Berry) notched his third straight win in a $12,500 claiming event in 1:53.3. The Traci Berry trainee used his customary front-end style to extend the win streak, but was claimed out of the race by new owner Rodney Long.
